About the role

n

Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking two motivated individuals to join us in the position of Hospital Cleaner at Healesville Hospital (Healesville, Victoria) on permanent, Part-Time basis. Located 1 hour 20 minutes from Melbourne's CBD, Healesville hospital is a small rural public hospital servicing the local Yarra community. Working within a small, close-knit team, the incumbents will provide essential cleaning services across the site.

Shifts

n

The choice of two shifts is available, with flexibility and additional hours available for the right person.

n

Sunday 10am to 5:30pm and Monday, 10am to 4:30pm

n

Monday to Friday - Evening shift, starting from 5:30pm-10pm

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform theatre cleaning to a high standard to ensure the continued hygienic use and safety of the theatre
n
- Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
n
- Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
n
- Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety
n

About you

n

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
n
- A strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to sterilisation and hygiene practice is required to be successful in this role
n
- Flexibility to work either evening shift, weekends and across public holidays as required
n
- Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
n
- Current influenza vaccination, or ability to obtain, is essential
n
