Skills and experience

- Qualified tradesman with CertificateIIIin Marine Craft Construction
n
- Or a Skilled trade assistant with gel coat and detail experience
n
- 3 years experience preferred but not required
n
- Some tools provided
n
- Hand skills a must
n
- Preferably physically fit due to the nature of the environment
n
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
n
- Must live in Australia
n
- No working Visa considered

- Standard working week will have you starting at 5:30 am and finishing at 2:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 5:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday. With optional overtime.

About the role

n

Pro-tech Marine areseeking the services of a qualified Boat Builder / Trade Assistant 40+ hours per week. Long term role with years of work ahead.Some of the key tasks and responsibilities would be all aspects of the Fit out 1 Boat Building process including but not limited to: deck prep, all stainless steel fitment, plumbing, sub assembly of small parts, windscreens, fairing , sanding, application of gel coat, buffing, quality control, mentoring young apprentices, glass fitment and so on.
