About the role

n

CE Group is seeking experienced Construction Electricians to join the electrical construction team on a major gold mine redevelopment project near Rockhampton in Central Queensland.

n

Working a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster, you will complete general mine-site electrical construction works across a new tailings processing plant and associated infrastructure. This is a hands‐on construction role involving the installation of electrical, instrumentation and control systems—not a commissioning or QA/QC position.

n

The project offers strong continuity, with work expected to continue through to late 2026.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Install cable ladder, cable tray, conduit and supporting infrastructure
n
- Pull, dress and terminate LV, MV, control and instrumentation cabling
n
- Install switchboards, MCCs, field equipment, lighting and general power systems
n
- Complete electrical and instrumentation equipment installations to drawings and specifications
n
- Perform testing,



verification and construction completion activities
n
- Work safely and productively within an established mine-site construction team
n

About you

n

To be considered, you will require:

n

n
- Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence
n
- Demonstrated experience on mining, resources or heavy industrial construction projects
n
- Experience with electrical installations, cable support systems, cable pulling and terminations
n
- Current CPR/LVR and Working at Heights qualifications
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current Coal Board Medical or MMQ medical, or the ability to obtain one
n

You will also need a strong commitment to safety, reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively within a fast‐paced construction environment.
