Workday Test Analyst

Melbourne CBD | Hybrid. Initial 3–6 Month Contract | Strong Extension Potential

The Role

n

As the Workday Test Analyst, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing testing activities across the Workday platform, ensuring all enhancements and releases are thoroughly validated before deployment.

n

Working closely with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, Developers and business stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of the organisation's Workday ecosystem.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Plan and execute testing for Workday enhancements, fixes and new functionality
n
- Develop and maintain SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end test cases
n
- Validate Workday business processes, security roles and configuration changes
n
- Test Workday HCM, Payroll and Financials functionality
n
- Perform integration testing across Workday and connected enterprise applications
n
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders
n
- Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution
n
- Support quarterly Workday (R1/R2) release testing and production deployments
n
- Maintain and continually improve Workday regression test packs




n
- Produce test reports, quality metrics and testing documentation
n
- Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes
n

About You

n

You'll be an experienced Test Analyst with strong Workday knowledge and a proven track record delivering quality outcomes across enterprise SaaS platforms.

n

Essential Skills & Experience

n

n
- Commercial experience testing Workday
n
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM, including Core HCM and business processes
n
- Experience testing Workday Financials and/or Workday Payroll (highly desirable)
n
- Strong experience across SIT, UAT, regression and end-to-end testing
n
- Experience testing Workday integrations and interfaces
n
- Experience with defect management and test management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps or similar)
n
- Excellent analytical, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- Experience working within Agile project environments
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Workday implementation or post-go-live enhancement experience
n
- Experience supporting quarterly Workday releases (R1/R2)
n
- Knowledge of Workday security, reporting or integrations
n
- Exposure to Workday Studio, EIB or Prism Analytics
n
- ISTQB Certification
n
