We're now seeking an experienced and passionate First Aid Trainer and Assessor reporting to the Senior Faculty Manager - Education this role is a rare chance to shape and deliver a course that directly contributes to the growth and quality of the early childhood education workforce.

What you'll be doing

n

Delivering engaging and interactive classes according to training plans using pre-prepared materials.

n

Marking student assessments in a timely manner, provide constructive feedback to further learning.

n





Conducting practical skills sessions.

n

Maintaining accurate student records and updating the student management system accordingly.

n

Participating in validation activities.

n

Conduct workplace assessments visits and support with placement processes.

n

About you

n

Hold a CPR and First Aid Certificate.

n

Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent or higher)

n

Experience first aid training for a minimum of one year

n

Maintain industry currency

n

Qualified to train:

n

n
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
n
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
n
- HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
n
- HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
n

n

Undertake annual professional development in the fields of learning and assessment, including competency-based training and assessment.

n

Be self-motivated, punctual, reliable and well-presented.

n
