Our Restaurants havea unique style that evokes the history of the classic "butcher shop". The dining experience is driven by an open style kitchen, emphasizing the theatre of food preparation by our highly skilled kitchen team.

OurRibs & Burgersrestaurantrequires an experienced Cookwho ismotivated and passionate about cooking our range of quality products including; grass fed, hormone free, 100% natural beef patties, free range chicken breasts and tasty marinated ribs.

The Role:

n

As a Cook you are essential to supporting the successful operation of the kitchen on a daily basis. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

n

Ensure completion of all food preparation, set up and pack down of the kitchen

n

Coordinate and maintain the quality of food and presentation of all meals

n

Conduct kitchen quality control measures including stock management,



daily checklists and cleaning rosters

n

Ensure company compliance of all OH&S;/WH&S; requirements including kitchen cleanliness and staff/customer safety

n

To be successful in this role you will:

n

At least 1year of relevant employment experience

n

A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification or at least 1-3 years of relevant employment experience

n

Willingness to work in a fast paced environment with high pressure

n

Produce quality product with exceptional presentation

n

Effectively manage time and prioritise tasks and understand sequence of service

n

Understand stock management and stock control

n

Have excellent communication skills

n

Be reliable and have flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, nights and public holidays

n

Have excellent personal hygiene and presentation

n

Full Time contract offered $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation

n
