We are seeking a strategically influential and commercially astute Chief Executive Officer to lead a respected not-for-profit organisation into its next phase of growth, sector leadership, and national impact while remaining cognisant of maintaining financial sustainability.

About the Role

Reporting to the Board, the CEO will:

n

- Lead strategy execution and organisational performance
n
- Build and secure high-value partnerships with corporates, government and large institutions
n
- Leverage existing executive-level networks to unlock strategic partnerships, sponsorship and funding opportunities
n
- Represent the organisation publicly and strengthen advocacy impact
n
- Represent the organisation at senior industry forums, government roundtables and high-level stakeholder engagements
n
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Board on sector trends, policy shifts and growth opportunities
n
- Ensure solid governance, financial management and compliance
n
- Drive diversified revenue streams and ensure sustainable surplus generation
n
- Lead, inspire and manage staff and volunteers
n

What We're Looking For

You will bring:

- Senior executive or CEO-level leadership experience
n
- Proven success selling services, partnerships or programs to large organisations
n
- Established executive networks across corporate, government or industry sectors
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate credibly with C-suite leaders, Board Chairs and senior decision-makers
n
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget and surplus management
n
- Strategic thinker capable of balancing long-term impact with commercial performance
n
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills
n
- Executive presence with the ability to inspire confidence and command respect in high-level environments
n
- Experience working with Boards and diverse stakeholders
n
- Political acumen and strong stakeholder judgement
n
- A genuine commitment to purpose and impact
