Purpose of the Role

n

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll support the day-to-day financial operations of the Australian and US entities.

n

This is a broad, hands-on role spanning transactional accounting, reconciliations, management reporting, payroll, compliance, multi-entity consolidation and year-end support. You'll also contribute to new projects, process improvements and financial analysis as the business scales.

Roles & Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage daily transactions and bank reconciliations across AU and US entities
n
- Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts in Xero
n
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
n




- Support consolidated monthly and annual management reporting
n
- Assist with Australian accounting standards and US GAAP reporting
n
- Process Australian payroll, superannuation and leave
n
- Prepare BAS, PAYG and payroll tax requirements
n
- Assist with financial analysis, process improvements and ad hoc projects
n

Ideal Candidate

n

You'll have a solid grounding in financial accounting and be looking to broaden your commercial experience.

n

Ideally, you will bring:

n

n
- Strong general ledger, month-end and reconciliation skills
n
- Xero or similar accounting system experience
n
- Exposure to Australian payroll, BAS and PAYG
n
- CA/CPA studies in progress or completed
n
- Exposure to multi-entity or international accounting
n
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
- A curious, adaptable approach and willingness to take ownership
n
