Karras Cold Logistics, now part of NewCold, is a leading transport and cold chain logistics provider dedicated to delivering excellence, reliability, and exceptional customer service. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our Allocations Team based in Maidstone. Shift time 12PM to 8:06pm

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive team, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient allocation of transport resources and the smooth delivery of services to our customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

n

Coordinate metro deliveries and collections to support a seamless flow of goods

n

Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with a focus on service excellence

n

Optimise utilisation of assets and labour resources

n

Contribute to cost management initiatives by identifying and driving operational efficiencies

n

Quickly resolve live distribution issues, working closely with the Customer Service Team and customers to maintain service levels.

n

Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating agility, initiative, and attention to detail.

Skills & Experience

n

Ideal Candidate Profile:

n

Proven experience in Transport and Logistics, with a strong understanding of industry operations and standards

n

Knowledgeable with Metropolitan routes and interstate logistics operations.

n





Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels

n

Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and compliance requirements is essential.

n

Positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges

n

Working knowledge of HACCP principles, particularly within transport and food safety environments

n

Strong computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

n

Professional and motivated, with a strong drive to achieve results

n

Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in time-sensitive or high-pressure situations.
