About the role
n
Join The Royal Melbourne Hospital's Perioperative Services team as an Advanced Store Person, supporting safe and efficient surgical care through effective management of sterile stock, consumables, equipment and surgical supplies.
n
Working closely with clinical teams, you will coordinate ordering, receiving, replenishment and logistics to ensure theatres are prepared and patient care is supported.
n
Key Accountabilities
n
n
- Manage the receipt, tracking, and distribution of stock within the perioperative setting
n
- Monitor and resolve supply issues, including back orders and discrepancies
n
- Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to maintain optimal stock levels
n
- Use multiple inventory and IT systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in stock control
n
n
About You
n
n
- Previous experience in a store person, inventory controller, or logistics role (healthcare experience is a plus but not essential)
n
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
n
- Confident using digital inventory systems and managing stock across multiple platforms
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
