Instant Screw Piling is seeking a qualified and motivated Project Engineer / Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the estimating, planning, scheduling, coordination, and successful delivery of projects from estimate through to completion.

Working closely with consulting engineers, builders, clients, suppliers, and site crews, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering requirements, project specifications, and agreed timeframes.

Engineering Responsibilities

n

- Review engineering drawings, geotechnical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
n
- Prepare project costings, estimates and quotes.
n
- Liaise with consulting engineers regarding project designs, technical queries, and site conditions.
n
- Identify engineering and constructability issues and recommend practical solutions.
n
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved engineering designs and specifications.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, engineering requirements,



and project specifications.

Project Coordination Responsibilities

n

n
- Coordinate projects from estimate through to completion.
n
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and delivery programmes.
n
- Coordinate labour, equipment, subcontractors, and material deliveries.
n
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or resource conflicts.
n
- Liaise with clients, builders, suppliers, subcontractors, and site crews.
n
- Manage project variations and assess impacts on project delivery.
n
- Maintain project records, schedules, and documentation.
n
- Provide regular project updates to management and stakeholders.
n

What We Are Looking For

n

n
- Previous experience in piling, structural engineering, or geotechnical engineering.
n
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination and delivery.
n
- Experience with project costing, estimating, or preparing quotes.
n
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geotechnical reports, and technical specifications.
n
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
n
- Understanding of procurement and subcontractor management.
n
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- RPEQ qualified, or eligible to apply for RPEQ registration.
n
- Membership with Engineers Australia, or eligibility to apply.
n
- Current driver licence.
