Truck Mechanic | Rocklea | $57 per hour | Day shift

Working in a busy truck workshop setting, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing across a varied fleet of trucks, trailers and tankers. You'll have the opportunity to work on everything from general servicing and repairs through to overhauls, accessory fitting and restoration work.

- Truck Mechanic: $45 - $57/hr dependent on experience + penalties
n
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
n
- Optional overtime available
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Diagnose and find faults during mechanical assessments of trucks
n
- Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance
n
- Repair and maintain truck,



trailer and tanker fleets. Working on: Prime movers, Trucks, Trailers, Tankers
n
- Conduct overhauls and fit accessories to vehicles
n
- Perform basic welding and electrical tasks
n
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements
n

Requirements

n

n
- Trade qualified Truck Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
n
- Diagnostic and fault-finding capability
n
- Able to undertake repairs, modifications and complex diagnostics
n
- Ability to work independently on repairs and maintenance
n
- Strong attitude and willingness to learn
n
