Mansae Burwood is currently seeking an experienced Sous chef and Chef all level and apprentices to join our growing team. This role is offered on a full time basis.

n

Key Responsibility of the role include:

n

Providing exceptional food for service

n

Directing food preparation and collaborating with the Head Chef

n

Overseeing the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals

n

Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in all food storage and preparation areas

n

Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.

n

Responsible to supervise junior chefs or cooks.

n

Ability to handle fast paced heavy service

n





What we are looking for:

n

Experience in a premium venue

n

Strong knife skills and experience in Korean Cuisine is desire

n

Min 2 years relevant experience

n

A desire to learn and grow

n

Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards

n

Prepared to work flexible hours including weekends, late nights across a 7 day roster

n
