AAMG is currently seeking an experienced High Voltage Electricianto join a leading mining operation in the Bowen Basin. This is an excellent chance to secure ongoing work on a family-friendly 7/7 rotating day and night roster, working on a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.

About the Role

n

Working within the Mobile Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of high-voltage systems on heavy mobile mining equipment while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Diagnose and repair faults on high-voltage electrical systems
n
- Maintain and repair inverters, converters, traction motors, HV batteries and associated components
n
- Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile equipment
n
- Complete inspections and testing in accordance with OEM and site requirements
n
- Utilise diagnostic software and specialised testing equipment




n
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
n
- Work safely in accordance with site procedures and statutory requirements
n

n

About You - To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent trade qualification)
n
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
n
- Current HV Switching qualification
n
- Current CPR/LVR
n
- Standard 11
n
- Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Proven experience as an HV Electrician on heavy mobile mining equipment
n
- Experience working on CAT, Komatsu and/or Liebherr equipment highly regarded
n
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across HV electrical systems
n
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n

- Current BMA Core Induction
n
- Experience in open-cut coal mining environments
n
