Pureharvest is a health food company located in Drouin, Victoria. Due to growth and expansion, we are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified fitter and turner to work closely with all personnel involved in maintaining plant and equipment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

n

Attend to the servicing of allfilling machines and assist inday-to-day production requirements.

n

Servicing UHT plant and filling machines and working in other production areas as required.

n

Carry out preventative maintenance checks and replacement of parts when required.

n

Fabricate as necessary utilising maintenance skills – such as machining and welding.

n

This is a fulltime position (38 hrs per week). Some flexibility to work other shifts, some weekend work and overtime as necessary is required.

Skills and experience

n





To be considered for this position you will require a relevant Trade Qualification as well as previous experience in the food and/or dairy packaging or process related industries.

n

Holding a secondary trade qualification will be highly desirable but not essential and forklift license would be desirable but not essential.

n

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have knowledge and skills in Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Schematics, Ink Jet Coders, Pumps, UHT Processes, Homogenisers and low voltage electrics.

n

Some basic electrical knowledge and a restricted license would be advantageous.

n

Positive communication skills are required

n

Experience using maintenance programs (MEX) would be an advantage but not necessary.

n
