We are partnering exclusively with a national professional services organisation to appoint a senior HR Business Partner based in Melbourne. This newly created position sits at the heart of a business undergoing significant growth, integration and transformation, offering the chance to partner closely with senior leaders and shape people strategy during a pivotal period.

About the Role:

n

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll partner across multiple business areas to deliver strategic and operational HR support. You'll lead complex people initiatives, influence decision-making at an executive level and drive meaningful change across the organisation.

n

This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to own key people initiatives while coaching leaders through transformation, organisational change and complex employee matters.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Work closely with senior leaders to translate business priorities into forward-thinking people strategies across workforce planning, organisational design, change and capability uplift;
n
- Provide high-level coaching and guidance to leaders on performance, talent and succession, underperformance management and building high-performing teams;
n
- Support leaders through ongoing integration activity, driving consistency, alignment and strong employee engagement during periods of transformation;
n
- Bring structure and maturity to processes, reporting and data integrity, identifying opportunities to improve systems, insights and ways of working in a developing environment;
n
- Partner on strategic recruitment activity, role design and hiring decisions for key and senior positions;
n
- Provide commercial advice on salary positioning,



promotions, retention strategies and contribute to remuneration review activity; and
n
- Lead complex ER matters, investigations and performance processes with sound judgement, ensuring compliance and consistency across the business.

About You:

n

n
- 7+ years' experience in HR business partnering or senior generalist roles within professional services, consulting, legal, financial services or similarly fast-paced corporate environments;
n
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decision-making at a strategic level;
n
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes;
n
- Experience across organisational design, workforce planning, change and integration, talent development and complex employee relations; and
n
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
