APG Workforce is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Safety Inspector based in Mill Park, VIC. This role is ideal for a motivated safety professional who is passionate about maintaining safe work environments, ensuring WHS compliance, and promoting a strong workplace safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and workplace risk assessments.
n
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventative actions.
n
- Ensure compliance with Australian WHS legislation, company policies, and safety procedures.
n
- Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, hazards, and near misses.
n
- Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate safety documentation.
n
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and workplace safety training.
n
- Monitor the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
n
- Maintain safety registers, inspection records, permits,



and compliance documentation.
n
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and employees to improve workplace health and safety.
n
- Promote a positive safety culture across all departments.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Relevant WHS qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a Safety Inspector, WHS Officer, HSE Advisor, or similar role are essential.
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.
n
- Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
n
- Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
n
- High attention to detail with solid organisational skills.
n
- Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business.
n
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
n
- Full Australian Working Rights.
n
