The Role...

You'll be working within the Department of Defence's R&D; team to assess the effectiveness of detection and protection solutions used to combat chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals. You'll also be working on investigating and developing new solutions.
n
The primary focus will be on the fluorescence properties of highly toxic chemicals (HTCs), the assessment of molecular-based chemical sensors, and the assessment of vibrational spectroscopic methods and techniques.

You'll support the
n
Technical spectroscopic evaluation of highly toxic chemicals for development of current techniques and testing regimes with alternate light sources.
n
You Will Need...
n
Practical skills with analytical instrumentation in solid state fluorescence.
