Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and safety-focused HC Truck Driver to join our Rockhampton team.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of roofing and steel building products to customers across Rockhampton and surrounding regional areas.

n

This is a hands-on role that combines driving, customer service, and operational support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely operate HC vehicles for local and regional deliveries
n
- Load, secure, and unload steel products in accordance with safety requirements
n
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks
n




- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time
n
- Maintain proof of delivery documentation and delivery records
n
- Assist with yard and warehouse duties when required
n
- Comply with all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and load restraint requirements
n

About You

n

- Previous experience operating HC vehicles
n
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
n
- Understanding of load restraint and transport regulations
n
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
n
- Good communication and customer service skills
n
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
