Job Description
Melbourne Winery isn't your traditional winery.
n
We're bringing together everything we love about Melbourne - food, wine, culture, design and nightlife - to create a modern urban winery unlike anything else in the city.
n
Combining an urban cellar door, restaurant, wine bar, events and retail under one roof, we've created a destination where people come to discover, experience and celebrate wine in a completely different way.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, you'll lead the planning and delivery of Melbourne Winery's marketing across every customer touchpoint.
n
Hospitality marketing doesn't happen behind a laptop. It happens in the venue, capturing content as it unfolds, collaborating with chefs and venue teams, and bringing campaigns to life where the action happens.
n
This is a hands-on, full-time, in-office role where you'll create content, deliver campaigns, coordinate creative projects and execute marketing that builds brand awareness, drives visitation and supports commercial growth.
n
From social media and digital campaigns to CRM, partnerships, events and brand storytelling, you'll have the opportunity to bring ideas to life and make a genuine impact on one of Melbourne's most distinctive hospitality brands.
n
We're looking for an experienced marketer who balances creativity with strategy, is highly organised and confident turning ideas into action. If you thrive in a quick-paced environment and enjoy seeing your work make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
n
What You'll Be Responsible For
n
Brand & Marketing Strategy
n
Develop and execute Melbourne Winery's annual marketing plan, delivering campaigns that strengthen the brand, drive visitation and contribute to measurable commercial outcomes.
n
Content Creation
n
Create engaging photo and video content across the venue, including Reels, TikToks, photography, behind-the-scenes moments, menu launches, wine education and events.
n
As a hospitality business, some of our best content happens outside standard business hours. This role will occasionally require evening or weekend content capture for campaigns, launches and events.
n
Social Media & Community
n
Manage Melbourne Winery's social media channels, content calendar and online community,
creating engaging content that reflects our premium brand and encourages meaningful engagement.
n
Digital Marketing
n
Manage Melbourne Winery's website, landing pages and digital customer journey while coordinating SEO, paid media and external partners to continually improve performance and user experience.
n
CRM & Email Marketing
n
Plan, write and deliver EDM campaigns and automated customer journeys through Klaviyo, using customer insights and segmentation to increase repeat visitation, engagement and customer loyalty.
n
Campaigns & Events
n
Lead the marketing of seasonal campaigns, wine launches, signature events, private dining, weddings and corporate experiences, managing each project from concept through to execution.
n
Partnerships & Influencer Marketing
n
Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, media, creators and influencers to grow brand awareness, strengthen partnerships and create meaningful opportunities for collaboration.
n
Storytelling & Copywriting
n
Create compelling copy across social media, email marketing, website content, advertising and campaign collateral, bringing the Melbourne Winery brand to life through consistent storytelling.
n
Reporting & Performance
n
Monitor campaign performance, customer insights and marketing analytics, using data to evaluate results, identify opportunities and continually improve future marketing activity.
n
Brand Management
n
Champion the Melbourne Winery brand across every touchpoint, ensuring campaigns, content, venue collateral and customer communications remain consistent, on brand and aligned with the venue's positioning.
n
About You
n
We're looking for an experienced marketer who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to help grow one of Melbourne's most distinctive hospitality brands.
n
You'll bring:
n
4+ years' experience in hospitality, lifestyle or consumer marketing.
n
Proven experience creating engaging photo and video content for social media, with confidence behind the camera and a strong eye for visual storytelling.
n
Experience managing social media, digital campaigns, CRM and email marketing.
n
Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt your tone of voice across different platforms and audiences.
n
Confidence using Meta Business Suite, Klaviyo, CMS platforms and Canva (experience with Adobe Creative Suite is highly regarded).
n
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
n
A proactive approach and the ability to confidently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
n
A balance of creative thinking and commercial awareness, with an understanding of how marketing contributes to business performance.
n
A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships with venue teams and external partners.
n
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating brands and experiences that people want to be part of.
n
Why Join Melbourne Winery?
n

A hands-on role where your ideas quickly become reality.
n

n
Please note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
