Our Brisbane-based bicycle business has an excellent reputation supporting the sustainable active transport market (including cargo bikes, recreational and commuter bikes) and the customised trikes sector for people with a disability.

We need an Experienced Bicycle Mechanic who will be responsible for servicing and new builds of two wheel bikes and trikes to join our team. We are seeking a bright, highly motivated and super-organised individual with a thirst for knowledge and quality, who will play a pivotal role in this cutting-edge and growing business.

The successful applicant needs to bring proven bike servicing technical skills and be able to adapt and learn new skills. Experience

n

n
- Experienced bicycle technician focussed on mechanical servicing with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
n




- Able to work within a demanding environment independently and as part of a technical team
n
- Mechanical skills to build, service and repair a wide range of bicycles to quality standards
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills with staff and customers in store and on the phone.
n
- Ability using a computer-based ticketing system and CRM
n
- Experience with electric bikes NOT necessary, our existing team can handle this.
n

Responsibilities include:

n

n
- Scheduling, quoting of service work and liaising with customers before, during and on completion of service work
n
- Servicing, repairs and assembling a large range of bicycles in a professional and timely manner.
n
- Completing pre-dispatch/pre-collection inspections on new builds
n
- Ordering workshop parts and maintaining stock levels in workshop
n
- Maintaining accurate and complete customer records and entering service ticket notes and updates on a daily basis
n
- Maintaining a clean and organized workshop
n

Full time salary between $65,000 to $80,000 is to be negotiated based on experience. Pro rata for part time.
