Job Summary

n

We are seeking Site Engineer's to support our flagship project for Inland Rail based in Wagga Wagga, NSW. This a major project with two key areas across Civil and Structures (Bridges).

Task And Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control functions for all activities at site
n




- Implement the inspection and test requirements of the Project Execution Plan
n
- Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel
n
- Participate in bid evaluation of field subcontracts
n
- Provide general technical assistance to supervisory staff
n
- Maintain the project document control and filing systems
n
- Maintain systems for and perform field progress evaluation and compare actual with planned progress
n
- Complete punch lists and complete P&ID; checks for distribution to functional areas
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
n
- Post graduate experience in a construction/engineering setting - civil or rail experience highly sought
n
- Competent in planning and organising work schedules
n
- Working knowledge of HS&E; requirements
n
- Clear communication – verbal and written
n
