Position Title: Finance Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis)
n Location: Melbourne CBD
n Contract: Initial 3-Month Contract

The Opportunity
n Our client, a large multinational organisation, is seeking a commercially minded FP&A; Analyst to join their high-performing finance team on an initial 3-month contract with a view to be made permanent. This role will play a key part in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities across the business during a critical period.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly management reports and variance analysis
n
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with key stakeholders across the business
n
- Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
n
- Partner with operational teams to drive cost control and improve financial outcomes
n
- Assist with financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
n




- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within FP&A; processes and reporting
n
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements as needed
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- Proven experience in an FP&A;, commercial finance, or management accounting role
n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data
n
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
n
- Experience working within large, complex organisations (multinational experience highly regarded)
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering capabilities
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and meet tight deadlines
n
- Immediately available or able to start at short notice
n
