Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Storeperson to take ownership of our maintenance stores operation and help us build a best-practice approach to inventory, purchasing and parts management.

You'll be the go-to person for maintenance inventory, parts procurement, supplier management and stores operations, working closely with our Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Leads and broader maintenance team to ensure critical parts and services are available when needed.

Location: Maryborough, VIC
n Employment Type: Part-Time (30.4 hours per week)
n Roster: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - There maybe occasions where some adjustment to hours or spread of hours is required to meet operational priorities and support the maintenance team

What You'll Be Doing

n

Managing the day-to-day operation of the maintenance stores

n

Sourcing and procuring maintenance parts, consumables and contractor services

n

Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating value, service and delivery outcomes

n

Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control processes

n

Managing goods receipting, stock issuing and replenishment activities

n

Monitoring parts usage and identifying opportunities to optimise inventory holdings

n

Investigating stock discrepancies and inventory variances

n

Supporting planned maintenance activities, shutdowns and projects through effective parts management

n

Maintaining a clean, organised and audit-ready stores environment

n

Driving improvements to inventory, procurement and stores processes

n

About You

n





We're specifically searching for someone who has previously managed or worked within a dedicated stores function

n

Understands what "valuable" looks like when it comes to purchasing and inventory management practices

n

Can take ownership and work autonomously without needing extensive direction

n

Enjoys building systems, improving processes and creating structure

n

Is confident working with tradespeople, suppliers and operational teams

n

Holds strong purchasing, stock control and inventory management experience

n

Advantageous if you have experience using CMMS/MMS systems in a manufacturing environment
