Carpentry Apprentice - Current, 1st or 2nd Year | Commercial Cladding | IMMEDIATE START

NT Construction Group is looking for a reliable and motivated new, 1st or 2nd Year Carpentry Apprentice to join our team for an immediate start.

n

No previous apprenticeship experience is required. We welcome applications from people looking to begin their carpentry apprenticeship, as well as current 1st and 2nd year apprentices.

n

We specialise in commercial cladding and architectural façades, working on schools, childcare centres, commercial buildings and premium residential developments across Melbourne.

n

This is an opportunity to build a long-term career in a specialised area of construction. You'll work directly with an experienced team and learn a wide range of cladding and façade systems.

The role includes:

n

Working with aluminium,



metal and fibre-cement products

n

Installing wall wrap, battens, substrates, flashings and panels

n

Measuring, cutting, setting out and fixing materials

n

Reading plans and following installation requirements

n

Working safely from scaffolding and access equipment

n

Maintaining a clean and secure work area

n

Attending trade school and completing apprenticeship requirements

n

What we need from you:

n

Looking to commence or currently completing a carpentry apprenticeship

n

Reliable, punctual and ready to work

n

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

n

Construction Induction White Card

n

Driver's licence and reliable vehicle

n

Comfortable working at heights

n

Able to follow instructions and work within a small team

n

Committed to completing a carpentry apprenticeship

n

Previous construction or cladding experience is helpful but not essential. Attitude, reliability and pride in your work are what matter most.

n

Our projects are located across metropolitan Melbourne. Applicants must have reliable transport and be prepared to travel directly to different sites.

n

Immediate availability will be highly regarded.
