What you will bring
n
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
n
n
- Degree qualifications in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering, with experience in civil engineering design and construction.
n
- Demonstrated experience in the design of roads, drainage and associated civil infrastructure projects.
n
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related engineering design software.
n
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.
n
- Experience preparing technical specifications, tender documentation and evaluating contractor submissions.
n
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, authorities, colleagues and community members.

Salary and conditions
n
The position is classified within Band 6 of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $96,410.60 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
