About the Role

n

As Room Leader, you'll take the lead in creating a warm,



engaging, and developmentally rich environment for the children in your room. You'll guide and mentor a team of educators, oversee curriculum planning, and build genuine relationships with families, all while helping maintain the centre's reputation for exceptional care.
n You'll be supported by leadership that values consistency, collaboration, and quality practice above all else.

Your Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead the day-to-day operation of your room
n
- Implement curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
- Guide, mentor, and support a team of educators
n
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate experiences
n
- Support children's individual routines, wellbeing, and development
n
- Build genuine, trusting relationships with children and families
n
- Maintain accurate observations, documentation, and compliance
n

n

About You

n

n
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (mandatory)
n
- Experience leading or co-leading a room in a centre-based setting
n
- Strong understanding of child development and curriculum planning
n
- Current WWCC and First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
n
- Current Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain
n
- Natural leadership qualities - warm, organised, and reliable
n
- A genuine passion for mentoring and inspiring a team
n
