Operations Manager – Franchise Operations

Position Summary

n

The operations manager is responsible for overseeing the operational and franchising functions of a tobacco franchisor. The role ensures operational efficiency, franchise compliance, network performance, profitability, and consistent brand standards across all company and franchise locations.

Key Responsibilities

Franchise Operations

n

- Oversee the CGW franchise network and ensure compliance with franchise agreements, operational standards, and brand requirements.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and provide ongoing operational support.
n
- Monitor franchise performance and implement initiatives to improve sales, profitability, and operational excellence.
n
- Coordinate franchise onboarding, store openings, training, and network development.
n

Operational Management

n

n
- Manage day-to-day business operations, systems, and processes.
n
- Monitor budgets, sales,



labour costs, inventory, and overall business performance.
n
- Lead, coach, and develop operational staff and management teams.
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, employment, retail, and other applicable legislation.
n
- Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
n
- Lead operational improvement and business growth initiatives.
n

Qualifications and Skills

- Experience in operations management and franchising.
n
- Robust leadership, commercial, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
n

Reporting Line

n

Reports to the Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director and oversees franchise and operational support functions.
