The Project
n
An exciting opportunity now exists for a driven Project Manager to lead a $4M early works package for the expansion of an existing hospital's antenatal unit.
n
This project sits within a live healthcare environment and involves a technically complex internal fit-out. You will manage fabrication challenges, health compliance, and the coordination of specialist services, including:
n
n
- Medical gases
n
- Radiation shielding
n
- Infection control
n
n
The Role
n
We are seeking a commercially astute and decisive leader. You should have 4-5 years' experience as a Project Manager for a recognized Australian commercial head contractor, with a proven track record of delivering projects exceeding $2M.
n

Project Portfolio Exposure
n
You will gain experience across a broad range of sectors and contract types:

- New build, fit-out, and refurbishment (Healthcare, Education, Senior Living).

- GC21 contracts.
n
- Extensions into adjoining tenancies.
n
- Cold shell and select warm shell fit-outs.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Project Controls: Programme preparation, forecasting, budget control, and financial reporting.
n
- Technical Management: Design management coordination and BCA compliance.
n
- Site Operations: Site establishment, inspections, testing, and OH&S; management.
n
- Stakeholder Management: Managing subcontractors and client relations within live environments.
n
- Delivery: Ensuring projects are completed on time and within contract parameters.
n
n
What You'll Bring

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
n
- Experience: 4-5 years of tertiary project management experience (full lifecycle).
n
- Skills: Advanced financial acumen, design management capability, and Procore proficiency.
n
- Mindset: A calm, positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to lead under pressure.
