The Position
n
As the company expands its civil construction capabilities, you will be responsible for transitioning engineering designs into high-quality infrastructure, ensuring that every project-from commercial landscapes to civil package's executed with the precision the brand is known for.
n
Your core responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Supervise and mentor site labour crews and plant operators to maintain productivity and project standards.
n
- Coordinate daily subcontractor activities and material logistics to ensure the construction program remains on schedule.
n
- Interpret technical civil drawings and specifications, focusing on bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, and structural concrete works.
n
- Implement OHS and environmental management systems in compliance with Tier 2 and government client requirements.
n
- Serve as the primary site contact for client representatives,
providing professional communication and resolving technical issues.
n
- Monitor plant and equipment to ensure efficient resource allocation across the site.
n
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily diaries, quality assurance checklists, and safety toolbox records.
n

Required Experience & Qualifications
n
We are looking for a forward-thinking supervisor who is motivated by growth and the opportunity to build something lasting. You should be as comfortable leading a crew as you are discussing program milestones with a Project Manager.
n
n
- Proven experience in a leading hand capacity within the Victorian civil construction industry, specifically on commercial landscaping or civil construction projects.
n
- Demonstrated understanding of the compliance and reporting frameworks required when working with Tier 2 contractors.
n
- Technical proficiency in reading civil plans and performing site set-outs with high attention to detail.
n
- Ability to manage a diverse workforce and maintain professional stakeholder relationships.
n
- A valid Victorian Driver's License and General Construction Induction (White Card).
n
- A trade background or formal qualifications in Civil Construction or a relevant field.
n
