An established national commercial construction and fitout contractor is looking to appoint an experienced National Estimator to support its continued growth across Australia.

n

This is a senior opportunity for an estimator who enjoys working across multiple markets, building robust subcontractor relationships and taking ownership of tenders from initial review through to final submission.

n

The business delivers high-quality commercial fitout, refurbishment and selected recent-build projects, with project values ranging up to approximately $35 million.

n

The Role

n

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for estimating and tendering projects across the company's national operations.

n

Your Responsibilities Will Include

n

n
- Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, specifications and scopes of work
n
- Preparing detailed cost plans, estimates and tender submissions
n
- Completing trade take-offs and subcontractor comparisons
n
- Developing accurate project budgets and construction methodologies
n
- Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
- Identifying commercial risks, exclusions and value-management opportunities
n
- Working closely with project, design and delivery teams
n
- Supporting early contractor involvement and negotiated opportunities
n
- Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors across multiple states
n




- Assisting with tender interviews, handovers and post-tender negotiations
n

About You

n

To be considered, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Strong estimating experience within commercial construction or fitout
n
- Experience pricing fitout, refurbishment or new-build projects
n
- The ability to price projects valued up to $35 million
n
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction methodologies and trade packages
n
- Established subcontractor relationships within your local market
n
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
n
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
n
- Experience using recognised estimating and construction software
n
