JAX Tyres & Auto Newcastle is searching for a results-driven Service Advisor or qualified mechanic looking to come off the tools, who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced automotive environment.

This is a frontline sales rolewhere your ability to convert enquiries, upsell services, and maximise every customer interactiondirectly impacts your success. You'll be the trusted expert customers rely on — and the driving force behind workshop revenue.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Convert walk-ins and phone enquiriesinto confirmed bookings and sales
n
- Upsell tyres, servicing packages, alignments, brakes, and preventative maintenance
n
- Identify opportunities to increase average sale valueon every job
n
- Manage bookings and control job flowto maximise workshop efficiency
n
- Keep customers informed and confident throughout the service process
n
- Build repeat business and customer loyaltythrough proactive follow-ups
n
- Work closely with technicians to sell required and recommended repairs
n
- Process payments and maintain accurate sales and job records
n
- Contribute to a high-performance, sales-focused team culture
n
- Maintain compliance with WHS and operational standards
n

Who You Are

n

n




- Strong customer service with a focus to maintaining good relationships
n
- Strong mechanical & tyre knowledge
n
- Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Automotive (Preferred)
n
- Workflow management of an automotive workshop understanding
n
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
n
- Proven experience in a busy retail environment
n
- Ability to work in a team environment
n
- Available to work Saturdays
n
