The role will be responsible for driving fundraising growth, developing strategic partnerships, supporting volunteers and delivering impactful events across South Australia.

n

The incumbent will play a critical role in building a sustainable state operation by strengthening corporate relationships, enhancing community engagement and implementing systems and processes that support long-term success.

Fundraising & Partnerships

n

n
- Develop and manage relationships with corporate partners, major donors and key stakeholders
n
- Secure sponsorships, partnerships and fundraising opportunities
n
- Build a strong pipeline of new revenue opportunities
n
- Drive significant growth in fundraising outcomes across South Australia
n

n

Strategy & Growth

n

n
- Support the implementation of the South Australian growth strategy
n
- Identify and launch new events and fundraising initiatives
n
- Drive participation and engagement across rides, galas and community events
n
- Implement scalable systems and processes aligned with national operations
n

n

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

n

n
- Act as the key link between the South Australian operation and the national office
n
- Manage budgets, reporting and administration requirements
n
- Build solid relationships with suppliers, industry bodies and community stakeholders
n
- Foster collaboration across volunteers, committees and national teams
n

n

Volunteer & Event Management

n

n
- Recruit, engage and support a growing volunteer network
n
- Provide leadership through event planning and delivery
n
- Work closely with volunteer leaders to increase participation and impact
n
- Represent Tour de Cure at events and community activities throughout the state
n

We are seeking an energetic and commercially minded South Australian State Manager to lead our growth across South Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your relationship‐building, fundraising and leadership skills to make a real difference in the lives of Australians impacted by cancer. We are open part‐time of 3.5 - to full‐time 5 days per week (or a combination to enable 0.7-1 FTE) to find the most exceptional candidate.

You will bring:

- Proven experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development or revenue generation
n
- A strong track record of securing and managing high‐value relationships
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
n
- Commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and targets
n
- The ability to create structure, systems and processes in a growing organisation
n
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership capabilities
n

Highly Regarded

n

- Experience within the not‐for‐profit sector
n
- Events management experience
n
- Working with volunteers, boards or committees
