It's worth noting this is an onsite role, 5 days a week, with some flexibility with hours if you have personal commitments such as school pick up/drop off.

The Role

n

n
- Manage month-end close (journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations) and review transactional entries.
n
- Prepare internal,



statutory and financial reporting Investor / funding provider reporting and support
n
- Support funding administration
n
- Coordinate the external audit process and prepare audit schedules
n
- Prepare/review BAS, payroll tax, superannuation and other statutory lodgements
n
- Oversee payroll processing (leave, super, commissions, payroll tax)
n
- Monitor daily banking, cash movements and reconciliations
n
- Support the CFO with cash flow forecasting, management reporting and analysis
n
- Supervise and support the Commercial Accountant
n

Your Background

n

n
- Experience in the financial services sector and familiarity with their products, regulator and compliance requirements is essential.
n
- CA or CPA qualified
n
- Ideally from an SME environment where you have the big picture experience of the finance function
n
- Advanced Excel (strong reporting capability)
n
- Exceptional communication skills
n
- Staff supervision / mentoring experienceAudit or business services foundation (highly regarded)
