About the Role
n
We are seeking experienced and reliable Disability Support Workers (male and female) for immediate start across the Fraser Coast region.
n
This role will see you supporting participants with Complex Care needs including Seizure Management, PEG Feeding, and Tracheostomy Care, as well as daily living and community participation supports.
n
As part of our dedicated team, you will:

- Support children, young people, and adults living with disability
n
- Provide high-quality person-centred care in both individual and group settings
n
- Assist with personal care, medication, domestic tasks, and skill development
n
- Support participants to access their communities and live fulfilling lives
n
- Uphold Beyond The Spectrum's core values of passion, integrity, respect, and empathy

What We're Looking For
n
We are looking for team members who are:
n
n
- Fully available across all shifts — mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays
n
- Confident and willing to train within Complex Care teams
n
- Physically fit and emotionally resilient
n
- Strong communicators with great attention to detail
n
- Able to follow support plans and maintain accurate documentation
n
- Committed to professional boundaries and ethical practice
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
- Current QLD Driver's Licence
n
- Registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
n
- Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Willingness to undertake Complex Care and Medication Administration training
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
n
n
Pay & Benefits

- Employment Type: Casual

- Award: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award 2010
n
- Pay Rate: Based on classification and experience, including all applicable penalty rates, weekend and public holiday loadings, and sleepover allowances
n
