Dysons is seeking an experienced and driven Application Specialist to join our Technology team!

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand organisational needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver technology-enabled solutions that support strategic objectives. You will play a key role in business analysis, process improvement, system implementation, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Applications and Training, you will collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to ensure projects are effectively scoped, designed, implemented, and supported.

n

Responsibilities:

- Leading business analysis activities to identify and document business requirements
n
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to translate business needs into effective processes and system solutions
n
- Driving process improvement initiatives and supporting organisational change
n
- Developing business cases, project briefs, and cost-benefit analyses for technology initiatives
n
- Supporting the delivery of reporting, insights, and data models to enable informed decision-making
n
- Leading requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design activities
n
- Working with cross-functional teams through feasibility, design, testing, implementation, and go-live phases
n
- Supporting business readiness, user adoption, and training activities for new systems and processes
n
- Managing stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions align with business objectives and deliver value
n

Key Skills Needed:

n

n




- Experience and understanding of business and IT needs in transport services
n
- Experienced in a Business Analyst and project management capacity with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
n
- Demonstrable track record of successfully contributing to the delivery of complex, large scale IT projects (3+ years' experience).
n
- Proven direct management experience in either Agile and Waterfall project methodologies and SDLC processes
n
- Experience working with 3rd party IT providers and/or system integrators in country, regional and possibly globally
n
- Ensuring accurate understanding of business case development and benefits realisation is consistently done by the team
n
- Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation
n
