Our service is run by the Wishart State School P&C; Association. We offer Before School and After School Care as well as Vacation Care.

n

Expectations as an Educator:

n

Effectively supervise and engage with the children in our care while also following our daily program which features art, craft and active play.

n

Complete other daily tasks as rostered such as general cleaning duties, food service and recording your observations and reflections.

n





Build relationships with our children and families.

n

Be a team player.

n

What will you need:

n

Hold a current Paid Blue Card or a willingness to obtain one immediately at his/her own expense.

n

Minimum qualification requirement - working towards a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent qualifications

n

Have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place.

n

Be comfortable implementing and following policy and procedures.

n

Be comfortable working as part of a team and providing/receiving constructive feedback.

n

Be reliable, well organised and self-motivated.

n

Have First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications relevant to Education and Care settings or be willing to undertake appropriate training

n

First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications must be obtained within the probation period if not currently held.

n

To complete all training mandatory to Wishart OSHC.

n

Conditions of employment will be as per the Parents and Citizens Associations Award – State 2016, OSHC & Vacation Care stream.

n
