About the Role

n

MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer - Mobile Patrol to join our team at a mining site in Mount Isa. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols across the mining site, responding to incidents, monitoring site security, and helping maintain a safe and secure environment for people and property. Local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply; however, a relocation package is also available, including flights and two weeks of paid accommodation.

This position offers an attractive 105k annual package.

Duties

n

n
- Conduct mobile patrols and occasional foot patrols across designated areas of the mining site.
n
- Perform lock-up and unlock procedures.
n
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorised access and potential security threats.
n
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance.
n
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Full Australian Working rights
n
- Valid QLD drivers' licence
n
- Valid QLD Security Licence – unarmed
n




- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
n
- Availability to work 12 hours shifts (day and night)
n
- Master Licence Number – 41299
n
