Are you an experienced Rigger looking to build a long-term career in Australia's rapidly growing energy sector?

Catalpa is offering experienced Riggers the opportunity to transition into Transmission Line Construction.

n

If you've got solid rigging experience, we'll provide the additional training, mentoring and on-the-job development to help you become an Electrical Lineworker specialising in transmission tower assembly and erection.

n

With large-scale transmission projects secured across regional New South Wales and more work on the horizon, there's never been a better time to join the industry.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Working alongside experienced crews, you'll receive training while contributing to major transmission projects, including:

n

n
- Tower assembly and pre-assembly
n
- Transmission tower erection
n
- Structural steel installation
n
- Heavy lifting and complex rigging operations
n
- Working with cranes and specialised equipment
n
- Stringing activities (training provided where required)
n
- Working safely at heights within experienced construction teams
n

n

Who We're Looking For

n

We're keen to hear from experienced riggers who are looking to develop their careers.

n

Ideally, you'll have:

n

n
- Basic,



Intermediate or Advanced Rigging Licence
n
- Dogging Certification
n
- Practical rigging experience in construction, mining, infrastructure, or heavy industry
n
- Experience working with cranes and lifting operations
n
- A solid commitment to safety
n
- Experience working at heights
n
- The ability to work FIFO on regional projects
n

n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Transmission tower construction experience
n
- Dogging Licence
n
- EWP
n
- Tower Rescue
n
- Working at Heights
n
- First Aid & CPR
n
- Telehandler or other plant operating experience
n
