Supported Independent Living Disability Support Workers

As a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals to live fulfilling, meaningful lives in their own homes. You will provide high‐quality support tailored to each participant's needs and goals.
n
This role covers multiple SIL sites across Condell Park, Green Valley, Yagoona, Chipping Norton, and Wentworthville, requiring flexibility to travel between locations as needed.
n This role operates within a 24/7 Supported Independent Living environment, and applicants must have full flexibility to work across a rotating roster.
n
What You Will Do:
n
Work on a 24/7 rotating roster which includes days, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekend shifts.
n
Provide positive and empowering support to NDIS participants with a range of disabilities.
n
Deliver flexible, responsive, and client‐focused assistance aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing.
n
Follow NDIS support plans and behaviour support strategies.
n
Demonstrate high levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude.
n
Assist participants in their needs of daily living including personal care, toileting, showering, meal preparation, domestic assistance, social support, transport, etc.
n
Use your administration skills to maintain accurate documentation and records of support provided.
n
Key Requirements:
n
Experience providing personalised support to people with disabilities, including personal care, household tasks, and community access.
n
Experience in Disability Support or a similar support role.
n
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‐solving skills.
n
Empathy, patience, and the ability to work in a team-based workplace.
n
Valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum) and reliable vehicle.
n
First Aid Certificate & CPR.
n
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Working With Children Check.
n
Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and sleepovers.
n
