ABOUT THE ROLE
n
Mounties Health and Fitness is currently seeking an experienced Swim School Manager to lead the ongoing success, growth and operational excellence of our Swim School.
n
This role will oversee all Learn to Swim programs, aquatic education services, staff management, customer experience, program administration and commercial performance.
n
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:
n
n
- Lead, mentor and develop Swim School staff, fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
n
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and performance of Swim School employees.
n
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of all Learn to Swim and aquatic education programs.
n
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality swimming lessons in line with industry standards and best practice.
n
- Monitor class allocations, swimmer assessments, progression and pathway development.
n
- Drive enrolment growth,
customer retention and overall program performance.
n
- Manage Swim School budgets, reporting and commercial outcomes to support business growth.
n
- Collaborate with the Health & Fitness leadership team to enhance member experiences and increase participation.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, parents, schools and community stakeholders.
n
- Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives to grow awareness and engagement.
n
- Ensure compliance with aquatic industry regulations, safety standards and organisational policies.
n
- Maintain accurate program administration, staff qualifications and operational records.
n
- Promote a solid culture of safety, risk management and exceptional customer service.
n
- Prepare and present operational and financial reports to senior management.
n

ABOUT YOU
n
To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:
n
n
- Proven experience with managing Learn to Swim and/or Squad programs
n
- Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills
n
- Sound knowledge of aquatic safety and industry standards
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
n
- Experience with aquatic or facility management software
n
- A customer-focused mindset and passion for program growth
n
- Hold a current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Qualification
n
- Hold a current CPR and First Aid Certificate
n
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
n
