Vassallo Constructions is a family focused, civils business that has been operating and growing successfully in Central Queensland since 1997, undertaking a variety of project types and individual contracts up to $50M. We employ a multi-skilled workforce of plant operators, pipelayers, concreters and labourers.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for experienced Concreters and Concrete Labourers to join our Mackay Civil Construction team.

What You'll Bring to the Team

n

n
- Constructing and finishing a range of civil concrete works, including footpaths, kerb and channel, culverts, pits, headwalls, slabs and drainage structures.
n
- Setting up formwork, placing reinforcing steel, pouring, screeding and finishing concrete to a high standard.
n
- Reading and interpreting construction plans, levels and specifications.
n
- Working alongside plant operators and civil crews to deliver quality outcomes on a range of projects.
n
- Maintaining plant, tools and equipment in good working order.
n
- Working safely in accordance with company procedures and contributing to a positive team culture.

The Opportunity

n

Based in Mackay, you will be part of our Civil Construction team delivering a range of concrete works across subdivisions and infrastructure projects. This role involves all aspects of concreting, including formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, finishing and associated civil construction activities.

We welcome applications from experienced Concreters as well as Concrete Labourers looking to take the next step in their career.

This is a Mackay-based position (not FIFO); however, there may be occasional travel within the Central Queensland region when required.
