Maintenance Technician (Welding Equipment)

A leading Manufacturing company that offers a range of steel reinforcing products & services to the building and construction industry is on the look out for a Maintenance Technician.

n

This role would suit a maintenance technician with approximately 1.5–3 years of relevant experience who can perform these tasks independently with minimal supervision:

Key Requirements

n

n
- Inspect, maintain, and repair welding equipment, welding guns, tools, and production machinery.
n
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
n
- Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs on CNC machinery, fabrication equipment, and related systems.
n
- Replace worn or damaged components,



including welding tips, nozzles, cables, filters, tooling, and consumable parts.
n
- Assist with CNC machine servicing, adjustments, and breakdown repairs to minimise production downtime.
n
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
n
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organised, and secure condition.
n
- Follow company safety procedures and report hazards, faults, and maintenance issues
n

This role is a day shift position 7am-3pm Monday to Friday.

Salary to be negotiated Depending on skills/experience
