Tetris Group is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team in Yatala, QLD. This is a casual position that will see you play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of our manufacturing equipment. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for ensuring our machinery operates at peak performance to support our production goals.

What you'll be doing

n

- Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and equipment
n
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions
n
- Perform routine inspections, servicing and repairs to keep equipment running smoothly
n
- Collaborate with the production team to minimise downtime and maintain high levels of operational efficiency
n
- Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken and regularly report on equipment performance
n
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Formal trade qualification as a Boilermaker or equivalent
n
- Any metal fabrication trade qualification will be accepted as meeting the minimum requirement
n
- Fabricator trade qualification is specifically acceptable as meeting the minimum requirement
n
- Extensive experience (5+ years)



working as a Boilermaker in a manufacturing or industrial setting
n
- Exactly 5 years of boilermaker experience is required as the minimum for this position
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and rectify mechanical issues
n
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and specifications
n
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools and workshop equipment
n
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and best practicesValid work visa or Australian work rights are acceptable for this position
