Ramp & Baggage Agents - Brisbane Airport

dnata Airport Services Pty. Limited is one of the world's leading and most recognisable providers of Ground Handling and Cargo services to a number of major international Airlines.

We are seeking Ramp & Baggage Agents to join our team based in Brisbane Airport. We are currently recruiting for casual opportunities, with the potential to transition into a part-time role.

n

- Most shifts are between 6:00am - 12:00pm and 5:00am - 1:00pm on a 7 day rotating roster.
n
- Minimum of 4 hour shifts
n
- Approx. 15 hours per week with the ability to pick up more hours
n

n

A few of the key responsibilities for a Ramp & Baggage agent are;

n

n
- Ability to lift 32kgs
n
- Hands on capacity handling a range of duties
n
- Prospect to progress in Ramp duties:n n
- Assist with the movement of Ground Services Equipment e.g. aircraft stairs, mobile conveyors, tugs, belt loaders etc;
n




- Assist with the marshalling of arriving aircraft in accordance;
n
- Assist with safe and timely Aircraft push back and towing activities, driving and operating diverse Pushback tractors both conventional and Tow-bar-less types
n

n

Working for dnata at the airport there are a few must haves for you to be successful:

n

n
- You need to have Australian / New Zealand citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Working Visa.
n
- You must be willing to undertake a Pre-employment medical test
n
- You must be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Security check
n
- You will also need for some of the roles a valid driver's license
n
- Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Written
n
- High level of customer service skills
n
- Available to work on a rotating roster
n
- 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role (desirable)
n
