Joining the team at Cambridge Collision Centre, a full time opportunity is available for an experienced Motor Vehicle Spray Paint Prep Person to work at our workshop located in Kingston, QLD 4114. As a skilled spray paint prep person, you will play a crucial role in the vehicle repair process, ensuring a high-quality finish for our customers.

What you'll be doing
n
Thoroughly preparing vehicles for spray painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces
n
Mixing and applying primers, sealers, and other necessary coatings
n
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
n
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in a timely manner
n
Collaborating with the spray painting team to achieve the desired results
n
Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 2 years of experience as a motor vehicle spray paint prep person
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
n
Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools related to the trade
n
Knowledge of automotive paints, primers,
and preparation techniques
n
A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
Must have current open vehicle licence
n
