Kingloc Commercial Equipment is a proudly Australian-owned business with over 40 years' experience in commercial refrigeration. We specialise in plug-in refrigeration equipment and provide end-to-end solutions across warehousing, logistics, servicing and asset management for national corporate clients.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Transport and Warehouse Manager (Minchinbury Branch) to lead our NSW warehouse and logistics operations, with genuine potential to progress into a State Operations role for the right candidate.
n
THE OPPORTUNITY
n
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of our NSW transport, warehouse and distribution operations based at our Minchinbury branch.
n
You will lead a team of drivers, warehouse staff and operational support personnel, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective movement, storage and distribution of refrigeration equipment across NSW. The role is responsible for driving operational performance, maintaining high service standards, supporting compliance requirements and fostering a positive team culture.
n

This is a fully site-based position and requires a consistent on-site presence to effectively lead teams, support daily operations and maintain strong engagement with employees and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
Reporting to the National Operations Manager and Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Leading and managing all NSW warehouse, transport and logistics operations to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
n
- Leadership, development and performance management of warehouse staff, drivers, offsiders and despatch personnel
n
- Planning, coordinating and overseeing daily transport schedules, deliveries, collections and interstate equipment transfers.
n
- Managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, asset management, stocktakes, equipment handling and storage optimisation.
n
- Ensuring the efficient utilisation of vehicles,
labour and operational resources to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
n
- Managing corporate customer relationships from an operational perspective and acting as a key point of contact for service delivery matters.
n
- Ensuring service delivery is aligned with customer contracts, KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
n
- Overseeing Work Health & Safety (WHS) compliance and promoting a strong safety-first culture across all operational activities.
n
- Ensuring compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), transport legislation and company policies and procedures.
n
- Monitoring fleet performance, maintenance requirements and subcontractor compliance to support operational reliability.
n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse, transport and logistics operations to improve efficiency, service delivery and cost control.
n
- Acting as the senior escalation point for operational, transport, warehouse and customer service issues within NSW.
n
- Monitoring operational performance, labour utilisation and costs, and contributing to budgeting and financial performance reviews.
n
- Contributing to state and national operational projects, strategic initiatives and the continued growth of the business.

You will bring:

- Proven experience in transport, warehouse, logistics or operational management.
n
- Solid people leadership skills with the ability to develop and hold teams accountable for performance.
n
- Demonstrated experience managing warehouse operations, transport scheduling and service delivery activities.
n
- A sound understanding of transport operations, vehicle compliance and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.
n
- Excellent organisational,
planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and levels of the business.
n
- Experience managing customer expectations and resolving operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
n
- High attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
n
- Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and operational management systems (ERP experience highly regarded).
n
- Experience working with corporate customers or national accounts in an operational environment.
n
- A proactive approach to Work Health & Safety (WHS) and the ability to promote a positive safety culture.
n
- The ability to build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
n
- A current Driver's Licence (MR and/or Forklift Licence highly regarded).
