We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our Finance Team based in our Brisbane Head Office.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the financial operations of the firm and ensuring the accurate management of client and business accounts.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Daily bank reconciliations
n
- Trust transfers
n
- Trust accounting journals
n
- Managing debtors and creditors
n




- Petty cash management
n
- Drawing cheques
n
- Invoicing
n
- Assisting with general finance administration and reporting activities as required
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- At least 12 months' experience in an accounts, finance or bookkeeping role, ideally within a skilled services environment
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
n
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
n
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
n
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
n

n

Desirable but not essential:

n

n
- Previous legal accounting experience
n
- Experience working within a multi-state organisation
n
