Job Description

McNaughts Transport is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Linehaul Driver to join our growing team. This is a full-time, salary-based position offering the flexibility to be based in one of our key locations: Dubbo Region, Toowoomba, or Brisbane. You will operate late-model automatic or manual vehicles and be supported by a professional operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Conduct pickups and deliveries of general freight, consisting mainly of pallets/skids and IBC's or interbranch shuttle work (there is a requirement to load and unload
n
- Linehaul work across Australia – predominantly between South East Qld – central West NSW and into Melbourne/ Victoria
n
- Safely transport dangerous goods in compliance with DG regulations
n
- Complete pre-start checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and logs
n
- Work closely with the dispatch and operations teams to ensure efficient scheduling
n

Requirements:

n

n




- Valid MC driver's license
n
- Clean driving record and strong safety mindset
n
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
n
- Good communication skills and reliable work ethic
n
- Knowledge of COR, BFM, and load restraint guidelines
n
- Be well-presented, punctual, and flexible to changing work requirements
n
- Be efficient in completing necessary delivery paperwork including run sheets and work diaries
n
- Previous experience in linehaul or interstate transport operations
n
- Familiarity with QLD and NSW routes
n
- Experience with late-model Kenworth (manual) or similar manual vehicles
n
- Holding a forklift license
n
- Dangerous Goods accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Modern, well-maintained Kenworth vehicles
n
- Ongoing training and accreditation support
n

You will be required to provide a copy of your current license and meet McNaughts Transport employment criteria which will include a medical and drug and alcohol test.
