Delivery / Program Lead – Mission Critical National Programme

About our client

Our client is leading a multi-stream, high-value infrastructure transformation programme of national significance, focused on modernising core platforms that underpin critical operations across a highly secure environment.

n

This is not a standard transformation. It is a large-scale, greenfield build and migration programme involving the redesign, deployment and transition of next-generation infrastructure across compute, network, storage, VDI and security domains.

n

Operating within a Defence-aligned, highly regulated environment, this programme carries significant operational importance, with delivery outcomes directly supporting essential services and long-term capability uplift.

The programme is structured across multiple parallel workstreams and migration waves, requiring robust governance, coordination and leadership at scale. It brings together a broad ecosystem of delivery partners, making it both technically complex and organisationally high-impact.

About the role

n

You will take full ownership of end-to-end programme delivery, leading one of the most critical transformation initiatives currently in market.

n

You will operate at both strategic and execution levels, ensuring alignment between architecture, engineering and delivery teams while maintaining full oversight of programme performance.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Lead multi-workstream programme execution across design, build, migration and hypercare phases
n
- Manage programme governance, financials, resource planning and delivery risk
n
- Drive programme cadence, reporting and executive visibility
n
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across technical and business layers
n
- Coordinate across multiple vendors and delivery partners, ensuring alignment to programme objectives
n




- Maintain control across migration waves, dependencies and critical path delivery
n
- Ensure delivery aligns with strict security, compliance and operational requirements
n

The successful candidate

n

You are an experienced programme leader who thrives in high-stakes, complex delivery environments.

n

n
- 10+ years experience delivering large-scale infrastructure or transformation programmes
n
- Proven track record leading multi-vendor, multi-stream delivery environments
n
- Strong understanding of data centre, infrastructure or cloud transformation
n
- Highly credible with executive stakeholders and senior technical leaders
n
- Able to operate under pressure, ambiguity and tight delivery timelines
n

n

Mandatory requirement:

- NV2 clearance preferred, or NV1 with NV2 actively in progress (non-negotiable)
n

n
